The Greater Bakersfield Coalition is a community-driven network of parents, residents, educators, and local leaders committed to protecting the integrity, opportunity, and future of Kern County’s schools and neighborhoods. We believe strong communities are built through informed families, transparent leadership, and policies that reflect local values.

Our mission is to ensure Bakersfield and greater Kern County families have a clear, meaningful voice in the decisions that impact their children and daily lives. We work to elevate civic participation, promote responsible governance, and support education policies that prioritize fairness, safety, and accountability.
